Anjan Prakash is a passionate advocate for the interconnectedness of all life. Experiencing the pulse of our beautiful planet, fostering connections between diverse forms of life, and contributing joyfully to this intricate tapestry are what drive her learning and explorations.
Anjan’s career began in Ogilvy Advertising. Next she co-founded Brown Skins, a film production house in Mumbai, which produced commercials for clients around the globe. After 16 enriching years steeped in creativity and human culture, Anjan decided to pursue her calling to immerse and explore the natural world, leading her to become Asia’s first woman Certified Biomimicry Professional through Arizona State University and Biomimicry 3.8. She has also received training in The Art of Conscious Leadership (Rockwood Leadership Institute, USA), Cultivating Women’s Leadership (Bioneers, USA), and the Art of Transformational Consulting (Robert Gass, USA).
Drawing on these experiences, Anjan works as a Biomimicry Professional, Organizational Consultant, and Possibilities Catalyst at The Butterfly Effect, an organization founded to bridge the gap between Business/Organisations – Nature - Design.

In this rich and interconnected life on earth, we constantly witness the power of the whole transcending the sum of its parts. Seasons are a testament to the harmonious interplay of Earth’s elements, while the delicate flutter of a butterfly’s wings can set off a chain reaction that impacts weather patterns across the globe. Diverse creatures and life forms come together to create thriving ecosystems, and the imaginative minds of humans collaborate to build, create, design, innovate and unlock countless possibilities for our culture.
Life on Earth does not work in silos or solos, nor is it mundane. It is woven with interdependence and connections that evoke wonder, beauty, inspiration and play. Actively engaging with this interconnectedness, using our natural gifts, leads to rich emergence and endless possibilities. At The Butterfly Effect, this natural law is the inspiration and cornerstone of Anjan’s work and the offerings.

The Butterfly Effect designs and curates possibilities for diverse businesses and human systems to function and thrive like the natural world.
Drawing from the wisdom of 3.8 billion years, Anjan with her selected co-creators, emulate nature’s time-tested laws and principles, intricately blending successful strategies from both nature and human culture.
Depending on the ask of each project, she brings on board professionals, experts, facilitators, creative artists, and designers to contribute from their insights, learnings and explorations. Organizational Design:
Anjan approaches organisations as natural ecosystems, as they inherently hold qualities and patterns that are integral to an ecosystem. Drawing from the time-tested blueprint of nature’s evolution, the team scopes the challenges, customising the way forward through insights gained. Experiences are tailored to shift the organisation to a flourishing, and thriving organisation in the direction of the collective vision.
Artful Gatherings:
From intimate festivals to summits and conferences, Anjan meticulously crafts and curates experiences that inspire reflection, deepen connections, and expand horizons of possibility, uniting participants with purpose. She harnesses the power of collective creativity to artfully design every element of the gathering, from creative content to spatial design and interactions.
Community Design:
Collaborating with multidisciplinary specialists engaged with human behaviour, Anjan builds communities, that transcend the transactional. To cultivate a sense of belonging, she designs in-person or hybrid spaces for organizations that nurture authentic connections for collective action. Deeply inspired by the power of ‘one’, the community design works on multiple levels to build a win-win, symbiotic proposition for all stakeholders.
Immersive Experiences:
Customised around the needs of the communities and organisations, the bespoke immersive engagements spark creativity and possibilities, by bringing together the right ingredients, people and ideas, to catalyse a rich emergence. The designed explorations strengthen and ignite the inner space and outer work.
